My Approach

IM a quality over quantity person. 

IM too much of a perfectionist to be that high volume photographer. You probably won't see me doing "mini sessions," as I just can't trade GREAT in for good. I invest my heart, soul, & time into each session that I take on. You can rest assured that the final images that I deliver will meet the super high standards I hold myself to, ones you can be truly proud of and confident printing out as BIG as they make you FEEL! 

I love to work with adventurous people! People that love the outdoors as much as I do! People who are willing to brave the scratchy grass, pollen, bugs, mud, and sometimes heat to get that "worth it" shot! All those things are a "right of passage" here n TX am I right?! Sweat, mud, bugs, humidity hair can all be fixed in photoshop anyways, trust me! Some of my favorite locations are off the beaten path, or in unconventional settings. I love to work with people that can let loose, get caught up in a  moment with their loved ones...to me, the definition of True Art is imagery that invokes emotion, or stirs up beautiful memories of our favorite seasons of life. For me it's not enough to just document what you/your family looked like at a given age(though I get those too) BUT on your connection. I want your kids to look at their photos on the wall, and say, wow Mom/Dad really ENJOY me! Or wow, look how my bf/husband is looking at me!  

I edit to enhance true to life color. I prefer to add depth, and vibrance, for an overall rich color palette that remains timeless over trendy.

I like to bring out the best in all of the elements that are already present, and if they aren't present, but "could have been"...such as adding more scenery, or removing distracting things, I do this by default. I have been developing my photoshop skills through countless classes since I began my photographic journey. I can confidently say, I can do almost anything within photoshop, and can stylize your images according to whatever look you prefer. 

I grew up most of my life in Katy TX!

I have been a photographer in 3 different states, and had a DSLR camera always within reach for 12 years, since 2012. I have dabbled on and off with every genre from weddings to newborns, to videography and everything in between. My family and I moved back to Katy in 2017, after having been stranded in the midwest for 10 years! 

We settled in our neighborhood about 2  years ago. I rebranded, and though IM a seasoned photographer, IM "new" to our area. 

I find social media exhausting...I think its embarrassing the things business owners  have to resort to, to maintain attention, and interest in their services...I don't do this....most of my clients find me through good ole word of mouth, and being a quality over quantity girl, Im perfectly fine with less followers/likes because they represent real people who actually appreciate my work.
